The location was fantastic, right near many local restaurants and historic sites, making it easy to explore the area on foot. I appreciated the newly renovated room which was clean and cozy, perfect after a long day. A little downside was that the room felt a bit cramped for two people and their luggage. Overall, the ambiance was lovely, and I enjoyed using the attached restaurant for dinner.

Why didn't I try this sooner?
The perfect spot close to the historic center with a warm atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a wonderful stay. I enjoyed spacious and clean accommodations. The refreshing shower! Dining options nearby were plentiful too. Just be prepared for a bit of a walk uphill to explore everything. Truly a gem!

Only one elevator is available, which can be inconvenient for a full hotel!!! The lighting in the room could be much brighter, leaving areas feeling dim and uninviting!!! A bit overpriced for the amenities offered!!!

We loved exploring the charming Old Quebec, so close to everything! Walking to nearby attractions like Petit Champlain and the iconic château Frontenac was super easy. Our room had a nice relaxing vibe and was a good base for our family adventures, including my nephew.
My kids wished for more sound privacy between rooms.

A charming stay near old Quebec
The Hotel Le Saint-Paul is perfectly situated just a short walk from the historic old town, offering a delightful mix of local charm and modern amenities. The overall experience was enhanced by the attentive staff, from check-in to recommendations for nearby local eateries. I especially enjoyed the cozy ambiance of the room, which was spacious and included both a refrigerator and a coffee maker, allowing convenient snacking after a day of sightseeing.
The hotel didn't have a breakfast service, which was a letdown given the price paid. The carpet in the hallways appeared quite worn, and I encountered some noise due to the hotel's older structure, especially from the hallway. I also found that the limited front desk hours felt a bit inconvenient, as I wanted to inquire about service options outside those hours.

Location impressed me right away, only a four-minute walk to the train station. Easy to stroll around the Old Port and Old Quebec. The room had a cozy feel, complete with a comfortable bed and a large bathtub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. I appreciated the double-paned windows that blocked out most of the street noise, despite being near a gas station. Staff were helpful, though check-in took longer than expected. I requested an upper floor room for less noise, but got a lower room instead, which was slightly disappointing. Limited access to the tiny reception area felt odd, especially having no designated luggage room. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was a bust. reservations seemed necessary, and I encountered a rude staff member. Breakfast wasn't included, but nearby cafes saved the day with delicious options. One major issue, the carpeting in the hotel is due for replacement, as it looked worn out. However, the hotel's charm and proximity to local art galleries made up for some inconveniences.
